Apple Spiced Pork Chops
This recipe has 4 ingredients, is packed with flavor and is still good for you.
What you will need:
1. 1/2 of an apple thinly sliced
2. 1/2 of a red and yellow bell pepper thinly sliced
3. 2 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
4. 1/2 tbsp all spice
In a pan start with E.V. olive oil, toss in the thinly sliced apple, bell peppers and saute until they are sweating.
Poke holes on each side of the pork chops with a fork and place them in the pan on top of the fruit and veggies. Pour half of the maple syrup and half of the all spice onto one side of the pork chop, flip the chops when the other side of the pork browns. Rotate and repeat on the other side of the pork chop with the remainder of your maple syrup and all spice. Cover and let the pork finish cooking until it registers between 145 degrees(rare)-170 degrees(well-done).
*You may substitute pumpkin pie spice for all spice should you not have the all spice.
Serve your chop on the plate and spoon the fruit, veggie, and syrup on top of your pork chop.
