20 Minute Soup

Yep, you read it. This soup can be made and ready to eat in 2o minutes. The insides of the soup are very basic and very delicious.

What you will need:

Low sodium chicken broth

Celery

Carrots

Yellow onion

Turkey Italian Sausage

Kale

Potatoes

I often roast a chicken and when I am through with roasting the chicken I freeze the drippings and use it for a base to my soups. For this soup you start with cooking the diced turkey Italian sausage.

After the sausage is cooked you will add your diced onions and wait until they brown up before adding the carrots and celery. Once all of those have started to cook add your chicken broth, about 3-4 cups and 5 cups of water. Dice up the potatoes and allow the potatoes to cook half way before adding your chopped kale. Add a couple pinches of S&P and let the soup simmer while you set your table and call the family in for your 20 minute belly filling soup.

Enjoy!
