Take Out No More!


Sometimes it’s super easy to just pick up the phone and place an order for take out. However it isn’t always the healthiest choice. If you can spare a few extra minutes and energy you can make an easy and fabulous take out meal for your family.

Brown Rice Stir Fry:

What you need:
Short or long grain brown rice
Green beans
2 eggs
2 tbsp of Braggs or low sodium soy sauce

Cook your bown rice
Scramble your eggs
Dice your veggies.
In a wok or sauce pan saute the veggies, add your rice, add your eggs, add your braggs and saute everything together.


Broken Rice Noodle Chicken Teriyaki Lettuce Cups:

What you need:
Vermicelli rice noodle
Diced red bell pepper
1 cup of edamame
2 chicken breast
3 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 cup of chicken broth
Iceburg lettuce or bib lettuce

Dice your chicken and saute.
Cook your noodles in a seperate pot.
Add your veggies
Add your cooked noodles
Add your teriyaki sauce
Add your chicken broth
At the end sprinkle your sesame seeds on top and enjoy wrapped up in your lettuce cup!
