Nolan and I had sooooo much fun making these last week. Oh and by the way it was SUPER easy, like seriously easy.
What you need:
Brown SHORT grain rice
Rice wine vinegar
We made vegetarian sushi using:
Tofu, firm tofu.
Prepare the ingredients:
1. Thinly slice your veggies
2. Thinly slice your firm tofu and dry in between two paper towels for 15 min, then pan fry until golden brown on both sides. Once cooked, thinly slice into 1/2 inch sticks and add to your other items that you will make sushi with.
Making the sushi:
1. Place your Nori on the bamboo wrapper, spread some rice and add some of the goodies you prepared.
Roll your sushi with a BIG ole’ smile like this guy…
This is the fun part….
Cut with a wet knife and EAT!!
