  • I’m a wife and a mother to a sweet little boy and a four-legged hot mess of a Rat Terrier
  • We used to have a house 5 miles from downtown Austin, we moved after learning about the freeway they were going to build in our “backyard”.
  • We used to have chickens
  • My husband convinced me to move to the burbs, glad he did….
  • My backyard is brushy creek
  • I cried when I shot my first gun
  • I’m an only child
  • I have a bad temper….
  • I love beer, wine, ice cream, bread, burpees, push-up’s, sit-up’s and bicep curls (in that order)
  • Belly Dancing is a current hobby put on hold
  • I practice yoga and meditation weekly
  • I actually look forward to working out, like I genuinely LOVE IT!
  • I love pulling weeds and I hate mopping
  • I had an emergency C-section
  • I love looking at the Ocean, looking…
  • I love cooking
  • I can be a little OCD, especially with my pillows
  • I’m BLUNT
  • Crowds annoy me
  • My grammer is kinda bad, haha did you get that….
  • People think I’m weird. Not weird folks, unique!
  • I love traveling
  • I stay at home with my son, PHEW!
  • Cannot live without gangsta rap
  • I curse like a sailor
  • I take a realistic approach to food and fitness. Fitness and activity should be done daily and sweets and treats should be done in moderation. Portions should be SMALL and taking care of your mind, body and soul should be BIG priority.

If you have time today, please check out my recipes and the rest of my blog. Sometimes they are clean eats, sometimes they are originally made up from my own creations or just tweaked a bit from someone else’s creation. The one thing I can promise is they are always healthy and delicious. I don’t have a fancy camera so what you see is what you get. I will not be posting pizza’s and puff cakes, I will however post push-up’s, sit up’s, easy meals, quick snacks, muscle-building tips and nutrition. This blog is literally coming from a FIT FOODIE’S MOUTH!

    Have you thought about teaching belly dancing? If so, count me in. I would love to find a mommy and me belly dancing class for my 10 year old and I!
